When choosing a hotel in Paris, you first must decide what sights you want to see. This will help you determine which arrondisment to stay. As they say it’s all about LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!
Today, Paris Diva Guide Danielle shares a few of her hotel recommendations for a trip to Paris!

If you want to be in the vicinity of the Palais Royal, Danielle’s recommendation is the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal because it literally overlooks the Palais Royal Garden. Just steps away from the Louvre Museum, the Comédie Française theater, rue Saint-Honoré, and the Tuileries Gardens, this luxury hotel is in an ideal spot. If you’re looking to shop exclusive boutiques, eat at superb restaurants and enjoy classic architecture this is an excellent choice.

Close by is the Marquis Faubourg Saint Honore which is located in the intimate setting of the 18th century private mansion at 8 Rue d’Anjou. Also walking distance to the Louvre, Opera House and the Champs-Elysées this boutique hotel retains the feel of a private mansion. With impeccable personalized service, your stay in Paris will surly be memorable!

There is also in the same area the Citadines Suites Louvre Paris which is walking distance to the same attractions as the previous two hotels mentioned. Danielle had clients stay there recently and they were very happy with their stay.
Ahhh… then there is the left bank. Rive Gauche. My ‘hood in Saint-Germain des Pres – the neighborhood where I lived for 5 years. You can stroll down the Boulevard Saint Germain shopping it’s boutiques and then pop over the Musee D’Orsay before meandering your way back to the boutique hotel – the Bellechasse.
Now while I love to meander the back streets of Saint Germain the fact is many people’s dream when visiting Paris is to crawl out of bed and take a stroll each morning by the Eiffel Tower. Danielle recommends a hotel just a couple of blocks from the Eiffel Tower called the Hotel Derby Alma. A modern convenience hotel Danielle’s last clients who stayed here were thrilled with this 4 star hotel.
Thanks Danielle for your expertise in not only antiques but also in fabulous places to stay in Paris!
Bonne Nuit! Sweet Dreams of Paris!
