Building on momentum from last week’s DNN Video The Hague, I decided to hit the streets again, diva style, in this special DNN episode on Brussels Place du Grand Sablon. This posh square boasts an upscale weekend antiques market every Saturday 9 am – 5pm and Sunday 9am – 1pm. Lining the square you’ll find lively cafes, chic designer shopping, interior stores and enough high-end antique boutiques to see why the Place du Grand Sablon is considered “THE” place to be for weekend Belgium entertainment. Join me as I share historical and tourist information and then delve deep inside the market to show you some of the best finds of the day!

Here’s Toma’s Victorian Cobweb boutique too… She only has a few items up at moment but they rotate in inventory so you have to check frequently to see the latest… http://victoriancobwebstore.com/ The antique postcards are waiting to be framed! The 1907 Pier Goft Point is utterly charming!
The Antiques Diva
Sorry, Confused Anonymous, I hadn't meant to confuse the Antiques Diva readers. We two Toma's have had the best time getting to know each other. Here's my "new" blogspot – http://victoriancobweb.blogspot.com for anyone who is curious about the "other Toma". Keep in mind this is my first blog, so its a work in progress & no where near the quality of our Antiques Diva blog.
Regards,
Toma, AKA Name Twin or VictorianCobweb
Bravo, Antiques Diva!
EXCELLENT! EVEN BETTER THAN THE LAST!
HAVEN’T BEEN TO BRUSSELS IN YEARS… MAYBE A TRIP IS IN ORDER?
TINY RINY
Thanks Friends & Readers (or should I say "Viewers"?) for the compliments! Your support & encouragement mean a lot to me!
Good call Geoffrey! The music was indeed Louis Armstrong, and La Vie en Rose is my new themesong!
To the "Confused Anonymous", your question made me laugh out loud! Even though I go by The Antiques Diva in this blog, in real life my first name is Toma. Toma is not a typical American name, so imagine my surprise last year when I met another antique loving lady named Toma!!! We hit it off immediately and have been friends every since!
The Other Toma often signs her blog comments "Name Twin" or "Toma – Victorian Cobweb" the name of her online antiques store!! I can imagine this was confusing for you – but there are indeed two Toma's (and you thought it couldn't be done!!)! Do check out The Other Toma's new blog when you get a chance!
Best,
Toma, AKA The Antiques Diva (TM)
Brussels is one of my favorite places in Europe and this area is the crown jewel. Excellent video and “le vie en rose” with who must only be louis armstrong on trumpet fits perfectly. Nice job.
Geoffrey
wait… i’m confused. who is toma? LT says “toma live” and someone else signs their comment “toma” (victorian cobweb). the blogosphere is confusing. liked the blog video btw, was great.
Diva,
Another fabulous dish on a diva-worthy place to visit and shop!
Can’t wait for the next DNN video!
