Dear Diva Readers,

top:2px;padding-right:5px;font-family:times;”>Today, April 22, is Earth Day – a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment! We all know that “Recycling” is the watch word for Green Living – but did you realize that buying items for your home from antique shops, flea markets and garage sales is the essence of recycling and reusing? You can not only contribute to saving the environment by buying used goods, but you can also come up with snazzy décor and a unique home through purchasing things from the past! What an easy and fun way to live a greener life (and a perfect excuse for a guilt-free splurge!).

Happy Shopping!

  • Dear Anon –
I’ll be posting a blog on Annette Brederode’s secret sale later this month – but to give you a sneak peak on the dates, they are: June 5, 6 and 7, 2009
    11am to 6pm

    Annette Brederode
    Lijnbaansgracht #56D
    3rd floor

Happy Shopping! As always tell her The Antiques Diva sent you!

  • Hi Diva,
By any chance do you have the June dates for Annette Brederode’s sale in Amsterdam? I don’t want to miss it. Thanks!

  • Red Velvelt Shoe,
I adore vintage clothing… my fav vintage finds are coats from the 1950’s and 60’s. I would guess that 75% of my coats (and did I mention I have lots of coats?) are from this era! I really should do a post someday of Vintage Coats. First off they are usually great buys, secondly they fit my curvy figure perfectly and thirdly they just look great!

  • Hi Lisa,
In fact, it’s not me who is going to Bluegrass Country, but Lucretia, my Antiques Diva Tour Guide and she was delighted with the information you shared!

I always enjoy popping into your site – it’s so fresh and fun!
