top:2px;padding-right:5px;font-family:times;”>All across Paris, s tore windows and restaurants are celebrating. “C’est La Rentree!” announces “It’s the Return” from vacation!

In Paris the entire city goes away for their summer “holiday” in August. As my husband works for a French company, we too take August for a month away. This year my darling niece visited us for her Grand Tour and August was awhirl with travel – trips to Paris, Prague and London book-ended nearly a month away in Italy visiting Tuscany, Florence, Cinque Terre, Venice and Rome. You’ll be reading about our summer holidays over the next month as I catch up on my blogging, but today the French sentiment of “La Rentree” is my word-du-jour as I return to life post-vacation!

As I am always a fan of combining work with pleasure, I wanted to start this Fall Antiques Diva Season off with a special giveaway in conjunction with the fabulous Claudia Strasser, author of the beautiful Paris Apartment blog.

And she’s created something Diva Readers need to know about – an iPhone application called”>”Keys to the Fleas” the first in a series of mobile application guides for navigating the flea markets of the world.

It has everything you’ll need to shop like a pro and includes maps, shippers, Métro s tops, bus routes, hours, and of course, local haunts where you can kick back and admire your treasures over a café au lait!

While you can order your to-the-fleas/id380432477?mt=8#”>“Keys to the Fleas” for only $1.99, this week we’re offering a special Antiques Diva – Paris Apartment Giveaway so that one of my fabulous readers can win their very own “Key’s To the Fleas”.

  • I love Paris because it is a unique combination of fabulous food, history, fashion and culture and it manages to be simultaneously rushing towards the future and embracing the past.

  • C’est incroyable! Paris is a city of fun, fashion and fantasies . . . as the song goes, I love Paris in the fall! Salut, Valerie !

  • This app is amazing! Def the best $1.99 ever spent. I am planning my trip to Paris for the spring. In the meantime I am pouring over all of the fabulous information and will pine over the photos. Thank you Claudia!

  • Not that i'm too cheap to pay $1.99 for an app, but i love the idea of winning something! I love Paris in the fall when the big leaves are falling to the sidewalk and i can walk on them on my way to the metro. Miss being there!

  • I have to agree with Jacky: J'adore Paris because it is Paris. You can lose yourself, and then find yourself, in Paris. And with a key to the fleas I can take a bring a bit of Paris chez moi in my suitcase.

  • Mais Oui – Paris! There is so much to love about Paris – wine, pastries, antiques, fruit de mer, culture, museums, gosh this could be a huge list! And then there are also Parisian men oh la la! The app is very cool – can't wait!!
