    Dear Friends,

This weekend, the Randolph Street Market Festival celebrates its last gathering of the 2008 season with great finds to overhaul your home and person. Swank fashion finds and antique treasures galore to fulfill the vintage style creed! Many of the more than 200 vendors will display a wide array of vintage & indie fashion, antiques & decorative art, images and collectibles that coincide with important eras that reflect this. The Randolph Street Market Festival is held September 27th & 28th at 1350 W. Randolph Street in Chicago's uber-chic West Loop.

After a fabulous kick-off to the season in May, the Randolph Street Market Festival was christened officially!! Thousands turned out to ring in the newly named umbrella event and fun and great shopping were onhand. Many a Chicago home is decked out with furnishings purchased at the Chicago Antique Market, Indie Designer Market, and the newly added "mini markets"~~ and there are more incredible finds on hand for this weekend!

New this year are mini "markets within the Market" including the Vinyl Swap Meet, featuring collectible, rare and original vinyl recordings for audiophiles and nostalgic music lovers.

Also, the Global Goods Bazaar, featuring a select group of artisans representing Chicago's ethnic heritage.

Another delicious addition is the Fancy Food Market, starring undiscovered culinary artisans making such goodies as truffles, gourmet popcorn, mini cupcakes, olive oils, spices and other treats.

Additionally vintage Schwinn bicycles from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s will be for sale.

Of special interest to those interested in selling their own inherited treasures is the Do-It-Yourself Estate Sale, where tables can be purchased and family heirlooms can be unloaded for cash.

The two-day September Market extravaganza will feature the CHICAGO ANTIQUE MARKET and over 150 antique dealers from as far away as Seattle, Texas, Florida, New York, Los Angeles, and New Mexico!

You'll find dealers carrying items for the garden, patio and rooftop terrace including vintage weather vanes, garden gates, reflecting balls, garden sculpture, bird baths and bird houses, and pots of all shapes and sizes.
