Born in Naples, Chiara is a proud Italian. In addition to working as an Antiques Diva Italy Guide, she is the owner of Galleria Esposito Antiquario, which specializes in 17th, 18th, and 19th-century Italian and European antique furniture and fine art. The three-generations old family business, housed at Via Maggio 82r, Florence, is on a street dedicated to the antiques trade. Chiara likes to share with her clients a wide range of antique pieces including Art Deco, Mid Century, and even contemporary art objects and textiles. The carefully hand-picked inventory comes mainly from private Italian homes and sellers. Vendors, who, on Antiques Diva buying tours – she shares her own store’s secret sources.
The Esposito gallery has an international, loyal following of private collectors and trade customers, served with care and dedication with a professional and responsive approach but always very relaxed and friendly. Chiara’s most important job is being mom of 2 adorable curly-haired 7 and 9 year old boys and 2 fluffy cats (the descendents of Fortuny & Fiorella!) Her blue eyed husband is a life long love. Chiara is an enthusiastic dreamer, but she has a concrete and pragmatic mindset. She loves diving into the Mediterranean as well as into new projects.
