argaret worked at Martha Stewart for four years, which played an important part in developing her love for interiors and antiques. After having a small home decor store in New Canaan, CT, Margaret shifted focus entirely to antiques and founded her antiques shop Modern Antiquarian. Since founding Modern Antiquarian in 2018, Margaret’s focus is on her mission to provide “Antiques for Modern Life.”
She works to enrich her clients’ lives while supporting fellow antiques dealers and women entrepreneurs. She loves supporting other dealers and helping them launch their businesses or revamp existing ones. Margaret is a member of LAPADA, a regular industry panelist, frequently featured in shelter magazines, and part of the 2023 class of “One to Watch” for Designers Today.
